Life in Pictures
I find myself always coming back to photography. Behind the lens is where I find quiet and a sense of self. It allows me to capture the beauty the world has to offer, even in the most difficult of times.

I have had a camera in my hand since I was young, first grade to be exact. Even then I loved moving around to find the best angle and lighting. I guess it was a way to find some control in a world that often feels out of control. Photography has always given me a creative and therapeutic outlet when I needed it most.
I have pictures all throughout my life. Moments I have documented myself and some others have documented for me. The good, the bad, the ugly. My life in pictures. I have shared some of those pictures on my portfolio page with you. Every client session, landscape scene, nature photograph, and personal photograph are all a part of my documented life pictures. I can look back at my clients photographs and remember how exciting that moment was for them, what new techniques I tried during a session, and even how honored I felt to be asked to photograph a special moment in their lives. Every photograph is special to me and in some way shows my path to this moment.
Photography is not just some way to make money for me, it is personal. I put everything I have into every last one. It is why it has taken me so long to get here. A place were I am ready to actually put myself and my photography out there and make my photography business a success. I just needed to get to a place where I allow myself to be creative and capture beautiful memories for each of my clients without self-judgement and self-doubt, believing in my artistic gifts and talents.
I have decided to blog along as this business grows. I am not sure what each will be about yet but I thank you for reading this and for joining me on this journey.
